2023 GSK IMPACT Awards: funding opportunity for health charities

The Kings Fund and GSK are delighted to announce that applications are now open for the 2023 GSK IMPACT Awards which provide core funding and free training for charities doing excellent work to improve people’s health and wellbeing.
New Fundraising App

The newly updated easyfundraising app enables you to easily raise money for your voluntary organisation when you shop on your phone or tablet. Get money back when you shop with over 6,000 online retailers, which is then passed to your organisation as a donation, at no extra cost. The External Funding Team at Halton Borough Council have produced their latest monthly Funding Bulletin covering recent grants alerts for the period 25 April to 9 May 2022.
£165,000 Fund Launched To Help Community Groups Reduce, Reuse And Recycle
A share of £165,000 is up for grabs to help community groups make the Liverpool City region a cleaner and greener place.
The funding - made available via the Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority and Veolia Community Fund 2022/23 – is for community and voluntary groups, schools and not-for-profit organisations, who can reduce household waste, encourage recycling and resource re-use and prevent carbon emissions. The projects will also have to demonstrate wider positive impacts on the environment, health and education.

Tackling Loneliness With Transport Fund
Public and charity sectors are invited to apply for grants of up to £500,000 to pilot projects that aim to reduce loneliness through transport schemes.
This project, funded by Her Majesty’s Treasury’s Shared Outcomes Fund and led by the Department for Transport (DfT), aims to develop the evidence base for how transport can help to alleviate loneliness.
