The External Funding Team at Halton Borough Council have sent over three grant funding alerts that may be of interest and whose imminent deadlines prevent inclusion in the next (November) Halton Funding monthly bulletin.
Exclusive £1,000 giveaway for the third sector
All third-sector organisations in our region have the chance to enter easyfundraising’s £1,000 giveaway, where one organisation will win £500 and five runners up £100! To enter, register with easyfundraising, or if you already are registered, raise three donations by between 1st and 31 October 2022.

AVIVA Community Fund - Together we can raise double the funds to help with rising costs
This month, AVIVA are pleased to introduce a new fund – the Cost of Living Boost.
We all know that rising costs are making a lot of lives harder and community support is more vital than ever. Many organisations are working tirelessly to meet this challenge, but the combination of greater need and funding not stretching so far is causing them extra strain.
Halton Foundation
The Halton Foundation was launched in February 2016 and aims to forge links between local community groups who need help, with local businesses who may be able to provide it. The partnership is led by Halton Chamber of Commerce, Halton Borough Council and Halton and St Helen’s Voluntary and Community Action (VCA). The Halton Foundation’s grant making arm is administered by the Community Foundation for Merseyside.
Funding Available for Growing Projects in Liverpool City Region
Liverpool Food Growers Network want to hear your volunteer stories!
Growing projects and community gardens in Liverpool City Region are invited to apply for small grants of £500 from the Liverpool Food Growers Network.
The funding is for hosting an open event at your community garden, growing space or an associated venue to highlight stories and achievements of your volunteers. It can be used to cover the preparations and hosting of the event.
High Sheriff and Merseyside Police Charitable Fund
The High Sheriff and Merseyside Police Charitable Fund has launched this week with a closing date of 24th October.
The fund will consider applications from groups that have been established for a minimum of 1- year with grants up to £2500 available.

Baobab Collective Fund Is Open
The Baobab Collective Fund is open for registration. The new £3 million fund is to grow, sustain and strengthen Black and Global majority communities that are resisting racial injustice in the UK.
