Join one of their 1-2-1 supported sessions at Haydock Library, where you and the Access Consultant, David, will explore the library and do the creative workshop activities together to re-imagine the library into a fun and inclusive place for everyone.

Refugee Week, the UK-wide celebration of arts, culture, and community, returns from 16 to 22 June 2025 under the theme “Community as a Superpower.” St Helens will mark the occasion with a range of events and activities coordinated by St Helens Borough Council’s Refugee Resettlement Service, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks.

As part of the planning process for the St Helens Wellbeing Service, feedback is being gathered from residents to inform a review of the current service. This input will help shape the future direction of the service, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of people living in the St Helens Borough.
This survey focuses on specific areas of support offered by the St Helens Wellbeing Service, including stop smoking support, mental health and wellbeing, healthy weight, and oral health. Respondents can choose which of these areas they wish to provide feedback on.

Community Library Grant Scheme - St Helens Borough Council
The Community Library Grant Scheme aims to support groups to establish a library offer within their community.
This will be done by offering up to a maximum of £5,000 for one-off grant funding to community organisations or community interest companies who are working within St Helens Borough.
What is a Community Library?
A Community Library is a community run site which is independent of the Council, ranging from:
