Photography Project Opportunity For St Helens Based Community Group
Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool will be working with local council authorities, including St Helens Borough Council, to build a cultural programme of photography across the 6 council areas of Liverpool City Region.
An appointed Photographer in Residence (with experience of working with communities) will be joining an established local group to conceive and produce an exhibition of work in response to place.
Signs Of Refugee Exploitation Workshop
St Helens Refugee Resettlement Service are running a "Signs Of Refugee Exploitation Workshop" on Friday 1st November 9.30am-12.00 noon, at Pilkington Room, Town Hall Victoria Square, St Helens, WA10 1HP.
The workshop will include:

Inclusive Football Sessions - St Helens
Enjoy Football are running weekly inclusive football sessions focusing on mental health and recovery.
If you are in St Helens and district, in recovery from addiction, suffering from mental ill health, new to the area or anything else and you would like to start to be a bit mote active, you would be very welcome to join in for an hour's football.
Their award winning sessions are fully inclusive and non judgmental.

Progress Partnership - Helping Economically Inactive Individuals
Torus Foundation are running an exciting new project supporting Economically Inactive individuals. This project is designed to support individuals with CV's, Job Search, Training, Volunteering and finding paid employment.
Each individual will have a specialist advisor supporting them on a one to one basis to help them move closer to their goals. Torus have had great successes on this project so far, from one individual getting their dream of becoming self employed to another volunteering regularly after disengaging from any form of activity.
