As the festive season approaches, a number of community organisations across Halton and St Helens have confirmed they will remain open during the holiday period, ensuring vital support and activities continue for those who need them most.
Halton:
The Autism Wellbeing Project (AWP)
Support all autistic adults, whether diagnosed or not.
Activities are for over 18s, just need to be registered with AWP, which is free and can be done using this link https://forms.gle/urroBKun5wW4awLCA

Trinity Safe Space
Drop-in sessions catering for any asylum seeker, refugee and vulnerable migrants living in Halton. They have access to informal interpreters if necessary.

Hope Centre Foodbank
St Helens Foodbank provides emergency food hampers. Five hubs work to cover all areas of St Helens, distributing to those who are in need through a voucher based referral scheme.

Come Together Hub:
They are running a slimmed-down timetable over the Christmas period to give staff and volunteers some well earned rest but they also know better than anyone that struggles don’t stop just because it’s Christmas.
They will still be running some sessions over Christmas and New Year and are also inviting the community to a Festive Walk on the 28th December, a chance to get some fresh air, connect with others, and find support during what is not always an easy time for everyone.
