Parr Sports & Community Centre continues to be a welcoming hub for learning, connection and activity in Parr, St Helens, with a packed programme of affordable events this spring for families and the wider community to enjoy.
February Half Term Fun kicks off with a week of low-cost activities designed to bring families together. Children can enjoy Movie Monday at 12 noon for just £1 per child, with food and drinks available to purchase. On Tuesday, families can get creative at the Pancake Bar from 2–4pm for £2 per person, before putting their thinking caps on for the Family Fun Quiz on Friday from 12–2pm, costing just £1 per team. With fun, food and friendly vibes throughout the week, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Looking ahead, the Centre will host a Craft Fayre on Saturday 7th March, 10am–12 noon. Visitors can browse a variety of craft stalls, enjoy activities, and grab food and drink in a relaxed community setting. Local stallholders are encouraged to get involved, with stalls available for just £5. Rounding off the spring programme is a Car Boot Sale on Sunday 12th April, with sellers welcome from 9am and buyers from 10am. It’s the perfect chance to clear out unwanted items or pick up a bargain, with cars priced at £10.
