St Helens Climate Change Commission - 6th November 2025
St Helens Council - Environment and Climate are excited to welcome a fantastic range of speakers to this event, focussing on St Helens' Role in Achieving the Liverpool City Region's Climate Goals.
The workshop will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm with arrivals from 10.00am.

Coffee, Cake And Craft Sessions - St Helens
Wellbeing and Creative Community are a friendly, welcoming group based in St Helens, offering “coffee, cake and craft” sessions to support the health and wellbeing of our community. Their aim is to provide a safe, inclusive space where people can connect, learn, and nurture both creativity and wellbeing.

ST HELENS - The BIG WINTER COAT Campaign 2025!

Building on the success of the Halton site’s winter coat initiative, St Helens is piloting its own Pick-A-Coat Event this November to assist families and individuals who might want to give a winter coat a new home. The campaign encourages community members to donate clean, gently worn winter coats of all sizes and styles, along with hats, scarves, and gloves.
Donations can be dropped off between October 20th and October 31st at the following locations:
Five Years Of Wonder In St Helens
In a park, a library, a church hall, even in an empty shop - wonder has been quietly spreading across St Helens for the past five years.
You’ve probably seen it: a performance out of nowhere, a bird rave, a yeti peeking through a window, a pirate adventure while doing the school uniform shop…St Helens Concert Band Offer Free Christmas Concert

St Helens Concert Band has funding to put on a christmas concert for a local community or charity in St Helens or Halton on an evening or Sunday afternoon.
If you can provide the hall and do the ticketing (your group keeps all the proceeds), and also provide 25 seats for the band - they will do the rest.
Parr Cradle to Career NEET Offer Fund
Right To Succeed are inviting applications from organisations interested in designing and delivering provision that supports young people in Parr who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) or at risk of becoming NEET. Funding of up to £38,700 is available across three workstreams, each with a maximum of £12,900:
Open Day And Fundraiser Event
Joy Free Job Training are a new CIC based in St Helens, their mission is to empower single mothers, Asylum seekers and
refugee women, women with criminal records, and women facing barriers to employment by equipping them with professional tailoring skills, creative fashion technologies, and business knowledge that will enhance their livelihoods and contribute to the local economy.They are holding an open day on 18th October at 3pm to 6pm to help to fundraise and raise awareness of their work in supporting women into skills and employment.

New Crisis Café to Host Community Open Evening in St Helens
A new wellbeing initiative, Crisis Café 110, is inviting local residents to its upcoming open evening on Friday, 10th October from 4pm to 6pm.
The café, based at Hope House, 110 Crab Street, St Helens (WA10 2DJ), aims to provide a safe and welcoming space for people seeking support with their mental health. Visitors will be able to meet the team behind the project, learn more about the services available, and connect with others in the community.
