New Express Service X4 Runcorn to Liverpool
A new express service between Runcorn (Windmill Hill) and Liverpool numbered X4 will be introduced on Monday 16 December 2024.
The new service, operated by Arriva and funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority will run hourly Monday to Saturday, from early morning and throughout the evening with an average journey time between Liverpool and Runcorn High Street of approximately 50 minutes.

Breakfast Club - Shipmates and Shipwrecks CIC
Shipmates and Shipwrecks CIC are running a Breakfast Club every Tuesdays 9.30am at Grangeway Community Centre, Runcorn, WA7 5HA.
Meeting up in a relaxed atmosphere for any service personnel and/or their families for a chat.
Together Unlimited
Together Unlimited is a new group that aims to support and unite people who have physical and mental health conditions.
The group is based at Ditton Library, (Queen's Avenue, Widnes WA8 8HR ) and meet fortnightly on a Thursday 1-3 pm, the first session is the 5th of December 2024.
Meet others, share experiences, get support and a warm welcome.
Free refreshments available.

Vision Support is looking for a passionate and motivated Community Engagement Coordinator to join their team in Halton.
If you’re dedicated to making a difference and supporting individuals with vision impairments, this could be the role for you.
Salary: £25,443.50 per year (pro rata)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid and Halton office

Halton Princes Trust Programme
The upcoming King’s Trust Team (formerly Prince’s Trust) programme will run from Monday 27th January 2025 and will be held at the Runcorn Fire Station. The current programme is well underway, so now is the time to start looking ahead to the next.
Recruitment is now starting for this fantastic opportunity, they will be meeting young people throughout January to secure their place.
