Cancer Alliance Film Launch Event
Join Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance for the launch of their new Halton campaign ‘Two Minutes of Chat & an Early Screening’ This powerful campaign is all about encouraging conversations about cancer that lead to early detection and life-saving cancer screenings for Breast, Bowel and Cervical cancer.
Be one of the first to see the campaign film featuring Will Mellor and Ralf Little. A panel made up of industry experts and Halton Residents will help inspire you with hints and tips on how to start the cancer conversations.
MAP Training Sessions - Halton
The demand for early help support in Halton is increasing, meaning professionals are busier than ever and we are all struggling with capacity. To help support with this, a condensed early help assessment is being re-launched, which is easy to use while still assessing the needs of families, children and young people in Halton.
MAP training is not mandatory, but will provide you with the tools and skills to enable you, the practitioner to take part in the MAP (Multi-Agency Plan) process.

Halton Sensory Service are offering a 6 Week Basic BSL Course for anyone who wants to develop this wonderful communication language. Whether you support Deaf or Hard of Hearing people or just want to develop your personal skills, this is a fantastic 6 hour course (over 6 weeks) Starting 3rd June. 5:30pm-6:3opm and based at the Halton Sensory Service office.
