Mind Lab
Mindlab is open to all adults in Halton who are struggling with a mental health issue. It is an opportunity for people to meet other people in a joint counselling session – the topics are Managing Emotions, Resilience and Managing Anxiety. We then take participants into our lab and let them try some fully guided science experiments!
Participants are met in our café area by one of our team and a counsellor from Mind. The group session is held in our lovely Gossage Room in the museum and then participants take part in the interesting science session that relates to the theme of the programme.
Due to numbers this is currently set at a science session at the end of the programme but when we have a larger group, we like to provide this opportunity after each session.
