Creative Hangout (WIDNES)
Delivered bySeven, 2-hour sessions, held weekly on Monday afternoons | Cost: FreeCreative Hangout is designed specifically for young adults aged 16 to 25 from Halton who have disabilities and/or autism. It offers a welcoming and supportive environment where attendees can develop their creative skills and socialise with friends old and new. They will be hosting seven weekly sessions in Widnes throughout November and December. It's important to note that these sessions will be held at Ashley School but young adults do not need to be students at this school to participate.
Date: Monday 6th November - 18th December 2023 (seven, 2-hour sessions, held weekly on Monday afternoons)

Deaf Social Club
Delivered byEvery Wednesday 12pm-2pm | Cost: FreeThis group brings together culturally Deaf and deaf blind people whose preferred language is British Sign Language. The group meets on Wednesday afternoon and enjoys pre-arranged activities and information events on a variety of topics, for example alcohol awareness, cancer awareness and benefit information. Trips and activities take place throughout the year.

Delivered bySecond Thursday of month 12pm to 1.30pm | Cost: FreeLunch, social and music for people living with dementia and thier carers and family members. Free to attend but attendees have to pay for any food or drink they consume from the cafe at the site.

Dementia Cafe - Monthly
Our Dementia Café is held every month in the café at Catalyst Science Discovery Centre
and Museum.
The session offers attendees and their carers a place to socialize with someone who
understands, in a relaxed and interesting setting.
The sessions are usually held on the first Sunday of each month at 3pm.
(Please note: January’s session will be held on Sunday 8th January).
No need to book—this is a drop in session.

Delivered byWednesdays 10am-12pm | Cost: PaidEvery Wednesday for a coffee, tea, and chat. For people aged 50+ living with dementia and their carers who want a safe space to socialise and meet new people. £2.50 per session.

Delivered byStarting Tuesday 7th March - 7 week course | Cost: FreeIf you are caring for a family member or friend who has been diagnosed with dementia then starting Tuesday 7th March 2023, Halton Carers Centre will be delivering a 7 week training course in St Maries Church, Lugsdale Road, Widnes.
The course will look at some of the behaviours associated with dementia, the trigger or cause of these behaviours and strategies to help manage these behaviours. Each session will last for 90 mins and the weekly sessions are as follows
