Mersey Care Launch New Children’s And Adolescent 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Response Team
Children and young people based in Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington up to the age of 18 who are experiencing a mental health crisis will have access to a dedicated 24/7 team for the first time.
The new crisis response team, based within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Child and Young People’s Mental Health Service, will help those under 18 who need an emergency response and aims to provide a risk assessment within four hours.

Select Training CIC Launch Whole-Community Mental Health Initiative
Select Training CIC are launching the Community Minds St Helens initiative which aims to improve mental health literacy across communities in Halton and St Helens and to create sustainable, community-level support groups and ambassador programmes.
The project will tackle the mental health crisis through education with a focus on prevention and early intervention. This will be achieved by providing affordable, high quality Ofqual regulated mental health first aid training to community groups, schools and charities.
Digital Mental Health Support Is Now Available For Everyone Aged 11+.
Free instant access digital mental health support is now available everyone aged 11+. These services provide free, safe and anonymous online mental health support whenever you need it.
There are no waiting lists for support and no referral needed. Access to these platforms is available instantly 24/7.
Funded Mental Health First Aid Training
Sean Bailey Wellness CIC will be delivering the new two day adult Mental Health First Aid course at The Brindley Theatre on Monday 27th February and Monday 6th March, 9.30am until 5.30pm.
There are eight fully funded spaces for not for profit organisations operating within Halton. To complete the course there must be full attendance across both days.

The Liverpool City Region is world-renowned for delivering cutting-edge approaches to complex challenges, particularly in health and wellbeing.
At present, our region has a few big problems at hand – challenges that cannot be solved by one sector alone. The Liverpool City Region Civic Data Cooperative (CDC) want to work with a range of people and organisations to lift the lid on these challenges, listen to different perspectives and find new ways to address them.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Brand Refresh Survey
It has been recognised nationally that the “IAPT” brand has become a barrier to access, with services choosing to use individuals names and the public struggling to understand the acronym.
This quick survey to help rebrand IAPT is seeking views on 2 options for the service brand name, and 2 options on the tagline.
