Digital Arts Box CIC

Digital Arts Box CIC is a not-for-profit organisation specialising in the creative and cultural industries, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing. We use digital arts, media, and technology to deliver inclusive, creative experiences that support emotional resilience, reduce social isolation, and improve mental wellbeing. Our programmes are designed to help individuals express themselves, connect with others, and build confidence— supporting all ages and abilities, including children, young people, families, and marginalised communities, including asylum seekers, refugees, older adults and neurodivergent individuals.

Creative Hangout (WIDNES)

Seven, 2-hour sessions, held weekly on Monday afternoons | Free

Creative Hangout is designed specifically for young adults aged 16 to 25 from Halton who have disabilities and/or autism. It offers a welcoming and supportive environment where attendees can develop their creative skills and socialise with friends old and new. They will be hosting seven weekly sessions in Widnes throughout November and December. It's important to note that these sessions will be held at Ashley School but young adults do not need to be students at this school to participate.

Looking for a fun and creative activity for your young person? The Digital Creators Club: Animation Sessions are the perfect way to inspire their imagination and teach them new skills!

Over six weeks, they’ll explore the exciting world of animation – from bringing LEGO to life with stop-motion techniques to drawing their own movies from scratch. By the end of the club, they will have a selection of finished films published on the organisations YouTube channel, ready to share with friends and family.

No prior experience is required for any activity, and all equipment will be provided. The friendly tutors will be there to support you every step of the way.

Who can get involved?

This club is for young people aged 11-16 from St Helens.
