FUNDING OPPORTUNITIY - Youth Empowerment Scheme (St Helens)
The scheme, delivered by the Community Foundation for Merseyside (CFM) in partnership with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside (PCC) and the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (MVRP), is targeted at community projects that offer diversionary activities- particular those that include arts, culture and sports to support young people aged under 25 years who may be more vulnerable to experiencing violence and at risk of anti-social behaviour.
Interventions/programmes delivered must fall into one of the following types:
Youth Quake 2024 - LCR Event
The Liverpool City Region Youth Combined Authority are holding an event that they would like to invite young people aged 13-19, (up to age 25 for SEND/CIC/SOC care) on Saturday the 21st of September at Mann Island in Liverpool.

The Youth Combined Authority (YCA) meets online in small groups to discuss key issues affecting the Liverpool City Region.
These are split into five areas:
Active Futures Programme
Cheshire Community Foundation are delighted to announce a new grant programme, delivered in partnership with the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and Active Cheshire. This programme will fund projects delivering early intervention and diversionary activities for young people at risk of involvement in Child Criminal Exploitation and Serious Youth Violence. Applicants can apply for up to £25,000 for costs delivering work with Children and Young People aged 0-18.
HeadzUp Halton - Young People's Drop In
A young people’s drop in is informal and for children and young people aged 17 and under and their families or carers.
The hubs are in the community and are supported by staff who can provide support and advice.
Drop by every Tuesday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at The Hub, Grangeway, Runcorn, WA7 5HA
And, starting 6 June 2024, every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Warrington Road Childrens Centre, Widnes, WA8 0BS

Youthwatch Halton
Youthwatch Halton are now under the umbrella of Healthwatch Halton and they are looking for young volunteers aged 13-25 to help change local health and social care services for the better.
