Bursaries Available for Vulnerable Young People in Halton Through Education Fund

Young people in Halton aged 16 to 25 who are facing vulnerability, now have access to bursaries of up to £500 to support their journey into education, training, or employment. The initiative is part of The Halton Education Learning Fund, administered by the Community Foundation for Merseyside.

Originally established through fundraising efforts by Councillor Kevan Wainwright and Andrea Wainwright during their tenure as Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, the fund has now been renamed to reflect its ongoing mission to support local youth.

The bursaries aim to ease financial barriers for young people taking their next steps in learning or career development. Eligible individuals are encouraged to apply, and local organisations are being asked to help spread the word to ensure the fund reaches those who need it most.
