    Joy Free Job Training are a new CIC based in St Helens, their mission is to empower single mothers, Asylum seekers and
    refugee women, women with criminal records, and women facing barriers to employment by equipping them with professional tailoring skills, creative fashion technologies, and business knowledge that will enhance their livelihoods and contribute to the local economy.

    They are holding an open day on 18th October at 3pm to 6pm to help to fundraise and raise awareness of their work in supporting women into skills and employment.

    The Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) have been commissioned to develop a bespoke LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention training package, with an anticipated launch in October 2025. This training aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools to support mental health and well-being within the LGBTQIA+ community.

    Nearly 500 people attended webinars this week hosted by the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) marking the launch of their latest training resource: Social Isolation and Loneliness Training.

  • MAP Training Sessions - Halton

     

    The demand for early help support in Halton is increasing, meaning professionals are busier than ever and we are all struggling with capacity. To help support with this, a condensed early help assessment is being re-launched, which is easy to use while still assessing the needs of families, children and young people in Halton.

    MAP training is not mandatory, but will provide you with the tools and skills to enable you, the practitioner to take part in the MAP (Multi-Agency Plan) process.
