Development of LGBTQIA+ suicide awareness training
The Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) have been commissioned to develop a bespoke LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention training package, with an anticipated launch in October 2025. This training aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools to support mental health and well-being within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Social Isolation and Loneliness Training Now Live
Nearly 500 people attended webinars this week hosted by the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) marking the launch of their latest training resource: Social Isolation and Loneliness Training.
The sessions explored the themes of social isolation, loneliness, and the value of meaningful connection, while also introducing the newly developed course content.
MAP Training Sessions - Halton
The demand for early help support in Halton is increasing, meaning professionals are busier than ever and we are all struggling with capacity. To help support with this, a condensed early help assessment is being re-launched, which is easy to use while still assessing the needs of families, children and young people in Halton.
MAP training is not mandatory, but will provide you with the tools and skills to enable you, the practitioner to take part in the MAP (Multi-Agency Plan) process.
Who the course is aimed at?
6 Week Basic BSL Course - Halton
Halton Sensory Service are offering a 6 Week Basic BSL Course for anyone who wants to develop this wonderful communication language. Whether you support Deaf or Hard of Hearing people or just want to develop your personal skills, this is a fantastic 6 hour course (over 6 weeks) Starting 3rd June. 5:30pm-6:3opm and based at the Halton Sensory Service office.
