A new LGBTQ+ Suicide Awareness Training is set to launch next month, with an online webinar inviting professionals and community members to learn more about the programme.
The training has been developed by the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) in partnership with Liverpool City Council. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to support individuals who may be struggling with their mental health, particularly within LGBTQ+ communities. The course has been shaped by lived experience, community insight and clinical expertise, and aligns with national suicide prevention priorities.
The upcoming launch webinar will provide insight into the development of the course, the experiences that informed it, and offer attendees an early preview ahead of its public release.
