As part of Black History Month 2026, Unite. Bridge. Hope. (UBH) is inviting local residents, volunteers and community groups to come together for a Big Clean Up at Sexton Avenue Community Allotment Garden in St Helens. 

Taking place on Friday 9th October 2026 from 1.00pm to 2.00pm, the event is an opportunity to make a positive difference to a valuable community space while celebrating the spirit of unity, inclusion and community action. 

Dawnstar Gaming CIC will bring its Culture 26 project, Made in Halton, Forged in Adventure, to a close with a special live Dungeons & Dragons finale at The Brindley Studio on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 6:00pm.

Throughout 2026, different groups of players have taken part in six linked tabletop roleplaying adventures at locations across Halton.

In brief, the session focused on the One Neighbourhood Programme’s early work in the North Neighbourhood, including emerging priorities around health inequalities, community voice, youth provision, safety, and practical hardship. We also heard updates from a wide range of local organisations, highlighting new programmes, events, volunteering opportunities and upcoming training.
