  • Macmillan Coffee Morning

    The Friends of Chain Lane are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the community centre on Tuesday 29th September 10.00am - 12.00noon.
    As well as delicious cakes there will also be a raffle, tombola, bingo and more. Come along and enjoy a lovely morning supporting this special charity. Short of time - just pop in for a cake and cuppa!

  • Mako Coding Club (Ages 10-16)

    Mako Coding Club takes place twice a month, with one session held in Widnes and the other in Runcorn. | Cost: Free

    Mako Coding Club is a dynamic FREE initiative aimed at inspiring young people aged 10-16 in Halton to explore the exciting world of coding. Our expert-led sessions, diverse curriculum, and interactive projects empower students with essential coding skills while nurturing their creativity in a collaborative environment.

    Participants will discover the thrill of coding as they learn to program drones, robots, video games, lights, and even create music. Whether they are a beginner or have some coding experience, all skill levels are welcome to be part of the coding revolution!
