    Children and Young People’s Mental Health Awareness Training

    1 ½ Hours

    This training will provide you with an understanding of what Mental Health is and will look at conditions that can impact on children and young people’s mental health. The training also provides resources that promote positive mental health through building resilience and wellbeing.

    The Aim of the Hubs is to give the public a direct link to the many different services out there who can provide you with help and support to manage your mental health. If you have a mental health issue, don’t be afraid to talk about it, come along and speak to those who can help.

  • Grants Available From Citizens Advice Halton

    CAB are pleased to announce that there is Winter Grant fuel funding available for Halton families and vulnerable persons from Halton Borough Council.  The Council is working with the Fuel Bank Foundation and Citizens Advice Halton to offer grants of £49 to help families who need support with their fuel bills.  There is funding for families, individuals and adults. To be eligible for the grant the person must have a pre-payment meter installed at the property and be willing to share their contact details with Citizens Advice Halton.

    Halton Children and Families services are excited to be recruiting to a new post of Parenting Co-ordinator.   This post is a fixed term 3 year funded post until Sept 2024 to secure a dedicated practitioner who is committed to taking forward Halton’s Parenting offer.

    You must have a thorough understanding of the challenges parents face when bringing up children and young people and be alert to the issues facing families in our local communities in today’s society.
