Halton Health Improvement Team have a new programme of health related training for January to March 2024 for Halton organisations.
Our training programme is designed to create a network of local Health Champions, whose role is to promote healthy lifestyles and inspire others to take a more active role in their health. They are sources of information on all aspects of health and wellbeing, can signpost to services and offer support to make positive behavioural changes

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), their primary goal is to provide comprehensive support services tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

The Big Conversation
The Big Conversation is about everyone living in Halton being a part of shaping what the future of the borough looks like. It’s about starting to talk about how, together, we can make Halton an even better place for people to live, work, visit and grow. It includes discussing what Halton Borough Council could do with the money that it has available, what we can do together as a community and what each of us may be able to do in our day to day lives, to make a difference.
Holiday Activity and Food Provision - Winter 2023
Halton Borough Council is delighted to announce that it has secured additional Government Funding from the Department of Education to enable local providers to offer FREE activities during the winter holiday period to school aged children from Reception to Year 11, who receive benefits-related to free school meals. There are also a number of places available to other vulnerable groups of children and young people, such as SEND up to 18yrs, Young Carers, NEET.
