Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum (a registered charity) has a vision to be a premier visitor attraction, recognised as the best science discovery centre dedicated to chemistry and a unique Museum of the chemical heritage of NW England.
They are situated in an old soap factory and attract thousands of visitors each year through their school workshops, science shows, sleepovers and fantastic programme of events for a wide range of ages from infants up to adult learners.
They currently have the following job vacancies:
Events, Engagement and Community Co-Ordinator
Job Purpose: To lead public and community engagement both on and off site
Location: Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum, Mersey Road, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 0DF
Schedule: 24 hours a week. 4/7 days working according to the needs of the organisation. This will include some weekend work.
Salary: £16735.68
Contract: Fixed Term 1 year with the potential to extend

Gallery Assistants:
Responsible for: Engaging and welcoming guests and supporting the guest experience in the interactive gallery
Rate of Pay: Minimum Wage, casual contract
Base Hours: Range of weekend and weekday work available. Regular hours available during weekends and school holidays
Start date ASAP.
