PH Holt £250,000 Resilience Fund now open
PH Holt Foundation has opened a new £250,000 Resilience Fund specifically for Merseyside charities aiming to address the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic upon vulnerable or disadvantaged communities across the region.
The Resilience Fund seeks to support activities that enable people to access opportunities which improve their well-being and connectivity. Charities should already be working with people in one of the following priority areas :
LCR Active Travel Stakeholder Group (St Helens)
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is creating an Active Travel Stakeholder Group to ensure that as schemes develop, the views and inputs of stakeholders are appropriately considered.
They are keen to make sure St. Helens is represented in this group, as it will contribute towards development, design and decisions around walking and cycling.

St Helens Library Service is currently consulting residents and partners about the draft Library Strategy (attached below). They are looking to explore the possibility of organisations such as Parish Councils, voluntary and community organisations being involved in managing libraries in the community.
