Final Recommendations For Future Electoral Arrangements For St Helens Borough Council

ocal Government Boundary Commission for England have published their final recommendations for future electoral arrangements for St Helens Borough Council.

They are proposing that St Helens Borough Council should have 48 councillors. Those councillors should represent 13 three-councillor wards, four two-councillor wards and one one councillor ward, across the borough.

They are also proposing that the boundaries of most wards should change, and the number of wards to be increased from 16 to 18.

NHS St Helens CCG TALKFEST Engagement Sessions

NHS St Helens CCG is pleased to announce that their TALKFEST engagement sessions are back beginning w/c 26th July 2021.

This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, the TALKFEST events will take place virtually using Microsoft Teams and they have also set up a freephone telephone number so that anyone who isn’t able to use Microsoft Teams is able to dial in and listen.

They will be holding two events, a morning and an evening session, to enable as many people as possible to join:

ESF Community Grants Focused Futures

The ESF Community Grants Focused Futures round seeks applications from a wide range of voluntary organisations who are ready to reach out by using approaches which tackle the new and emerging barriers arising from the impact of COVID 19, working both remotely and within social distancing requirements, once restrictions are eased. 

Small grants of up to £20,000 are available across the Liverpool City Region to eligible organisations in the VCSE sector.
