A new women-only initiative, the Human Book Club, is inviting local women to come together, share personal stories, and explore cultural traditions through creative crafting sessions. Hosted by Unite Bridge Hope (UBH), the club will meet fortnightly on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chrysalis Centre for Change, 25 College Street, St Helens (WA10 1TF).
Running from December 2025 to February 2026, the project blends conversation, creativity, and community connection. Participants will take part in handmade crafts while discussing meaningful life experiences and cultural heritage in a supportive, women-only environment.
Organiser Aicha, who leads the project through UBH, said the club aims to “build bridges between women of different backgrounds through storytelling, art, and shared creativity.”
The Human Book Club is free to attend and welcomes women from all walks of life who are interested in celebrating diversity, learning new craft skills, and fostering friendship.
