Two Minutes of Chat and an Early Screening

Vivid are excited to be working with the Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance on a new campaign launching quarter 1 of 2025 raising awareness and knowledge of early detection and screenings for breast cancer, bowel cancer and cervical cancer within the borough of Halton.

They are harnessing the power of cult classic Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (created in Runcorn), with the comedy and relatability of the show to the target audience of working-class communities.

The campaign is being brought to life with the support of local writer Susan Nickson the creator of the cult classic, alongside some of the cast from the show in the campaign film.

The ideal is to have a couple of representatives of people within the screening demographics as listed below to be able to build a full picture for Susan:

  • 10x People in the audience age of Cervical (25-64: 2 people per decade, e.g 20s, 30s,40s,50s,60s)
  • 8x People in the age of Breast Screening (50-71: 2 people per decade plus 2 in the age brackets of 80s)
  • 8x People in the age of Bowel Screening (50-74: 2 people per decade)

The session will take place on Monday 27th January at Wat Phra Singh UK, 88 High Street, Runcorn, WA7 1JH. 1:30 – 2:30pm.
