The Energy Voucher Scheme has been distributing vouchers for a number of years now, so you might already have partnered up with another organisation to distribute vouchers, but if you are not already doing so then please consider partnering with Torus Foundation) - https://torusfoundation.org.uk/.

Below is a little more information about who can be given energy vouchers:
(Each struggling  household can be given 6 vouchers worth £49 each over a 12 month period)
 
Households may be eligible if they are experiencing financial vulnerability or energy-related hardship, but must:
• Use a prepayment meters (crucial criteria)
 
Any of these below:
• Are on a low income
• Live with a long-term health condition or disability
• Are at risk of self-disconnection or currently self-rationing energy use
• Have experienced a sudden change in circumstances (e.g., job loss, bereavement, family breakdown)
• Are unable to maintain adequate heating levels due to cost pressures
• Over 50 years of age
• The household must live within the North West of England
 
What Partnership Involves (your role) –


Your staff would receive training and ongoing support once you have become an official partner
• Identifying eligible households within your service area
• Applying for the vouchers using our secure form and providing simple eligibility evidence uploaded to a online secure folder

Please Note:

As the programme requires the sharing of personal data organisation interested in being a partner will need to sign up to a data sharing agreement and be registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) however, if organisations are not currently members of the ICO - Torus will support them to register.
