An interactive webinar for small community groups and activities from the Child Protection in Sport Unit.
This webinar will provide you with some basic information about safeguarding and protecting children during their sport and physical activity sessions. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

Buddle Introduction - Free Resource Hub
Buddle (previously called Club Matters) is a platform that provides free learning and support resources to inspire and strengthen clubs and community organisations offering sport, physical activity and movement, as well as the professionals that work with them. It aims to inspire and strengthen community efforts by providing access to educational materials, guides, and networking opportunities.
Walking Football - MS Society and Everton in the Community
The MS Society and Everton in the Community are hosting a Walking Football session for anyone affected by MS (including family and friends).
Walking Football is a great way to keep active, make new friends and learn new skills. This is a fun, inclusive session for people affected by MS. Sessions and is open to all regardless of age or ability.
Monday May 22nd 12-2pm at the Peoples Hub, Spellow Lane, L4 4DF.

St Helens Summer Couch to 5k - Book your Place
Registration for the St Helens Summer Couch to 5k programme is now open!
The programme started on Monday 11th July and runs for 10 weeks, at a cost of just £15. Sessions take place Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7pm on the track at Sutton Leisure Centre. You can attend 1 or both sessions (the session is repeated twice in a week).
Free Course In Crown Green Bowling For St Helens Residents
Learn the basics of bowls with fun and friendly Bowl for Health group sessions. Suitable for newcomers, with all equipment provided - anybody can join in and no previous experience required!
Sessions take place at Black Horse Bowling Club Bowling Club (Ruskin Sports Village, WA10 6RP) from:
1.00pm to 2.30pm Friday 8th July 2022 (for 6 weeks)
Free Wednesday Walking Sports Session for Older Adults
St Helens Sports Development are delivering new and free walking sports sessions over the spring/summer at Victoria Park in St Helens. The session is part of their Fit Forever programme, which provides fun and social physical activity sessions to older adults across St Helens.

Rugby League World Cup To Be Staged In 2022
It has been announced that RLWC2021 and the UK Government have confirmed their intention for the tournament to be staged in 2022.
The extremely difficult decision was taken by the RLWC2021 Board, which includes representation from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, and the International Rugby League (IRL) Board.
