Following a successful in-person event earlier this year, the VS6 Partnership, in collaboration with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, is hosting a second joint event focused on public service reform.
This upcoming session, to be held online, will bring together representatives from the voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector across the Liverpool City Region. The event aims to build on the insights and discussions from the initial gathering, offering a deeper exploration of the sector’s role in shaping and delivering public services.
The event will feature contributions from the Combined Authority’s Office for Public Service Innovation (OPSI), which works across the six local authorities and with key public sector bodies, community groups, and businesses. OPSI’s mission is to transform public services by focusing on early intervention, innovative data use, and community-led service design—ultimately aiming to improve life outcomes, strengthen community resilience, and reduce inequality.
Recognising the VCFSE sector as a vital partner in this work, the event will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about the OPSI programme and contribute to the future direction of public service innovation in the region.
