Pop Up Museum Project

Looking for something local, different and completely FREE  between Christmas and New Year?

Join Town in the Town CIC and St Helens Town AFC as  they kick off their brand-new Pop-Up Museum Project with an afternoon of film, food and football memories – plus the chance to win prizes!

“We want people to join us as we launch our exciting Pop-Up Museum Project,”
says Gill Ellison of Town in the Town CIC.

“Maybe you once played for ‘Town’, came to matches with your dad or grandad, or have photos and stories to share – we’d love to hear from you.”

The Pop-Up Museum will celebrate more than a century of football heritage, community spirit and local pride – from Bert Trautmann to Hoghton Road, Park Road and the famous 1986–87 FA Vase. Over the coming months, they will be inviting the community to help bring this history to life with their memories, memorabilia and stories.

What’s happening on the day?

Your free ticket includes:

  • A comfy cinema seat at Lucem House Community Cinema
