Pathways to Teaching Programme

Have you ever thought about sharing your skills, knowledge, or expertise?

Have you ever thought about becoming a teacher in the adult education sector?

The Level 3 Pathways to Teaching programme may just be your first step towards such a career.

This exciting new programme offers you an introduction to teaching and provides you with valuable teaching experience. Successful completion of the programme leads to a Level 3 Award in Education and Training which is an introductory teaching qualification.

It also leads to awards in Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and British Values (all knowledge needed by teachers in training). This new programme has been carefully designed for people like you who want to get into teaching in the adult education sector but aren’t sure what a suitable first step might be.

The programme offers you a great introduction to the underpinning knowledge needed for teaching. It also offers you a work placement (which is arranged for you) where you get the opportunity to test the theory out in practice and to test out if teaching is for you.
