Mersey Care are holding a series of meetings for service users, their carers and members of the public.
They are holding an On-line session for Warrington and Halton service users on Friday 1 March 2024, 10am - 12pm. (Zoom details will be forwarded upon registration).
This will be an opportunity to meet with senior leaders from across Mersey Care and discuss your experience of their services and their plans for service improvements.

A celebration of service user and carer involvement in Mersey Care

Mersey Care serve more than 1.4 million people, offering specialist inpatient and community services that support mental health, learning disabilities, addictions, brain injuries and physical health, and they are one of only three trusts in the UK that offer high secure mental health facilities.
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is working in collaboration with the Improving Me Local Maternity System in Cheshire & Merseyside and Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the maternal mental health service which supports local communities to access treatment and care if they’ve experienced loss, distress or trauma during pregnancy and birth.
As a first step in developing a comprehensive Engagement Strategy, Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and Healthwatch St Helens are co-hosting an online consultation event:

This is an opportunity for individuals, and community organisations, to work alongside Mersey Care to ensure each service user and carer can play a meaningful role in the design, delivery, and monitoring of the services they receive.
