Halton & St Helens Voluntary Community Action have a proud history of making a difference in both boroughs since 1932. We are a well-respected partner and have excellent relationships with both those groups and communities we serve and public sector organisations. As a membership organisation we work hard to address the needs and represent the interests of our hundreds of Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) member organisations. Our vision is to have a strong voluntary and community sector that is dynamic, responsive, diverse and improves the quality of life for local people and communities.
We have a vacancy for a St Helens Community Connector – South West & Central, this post is funded for 3 years and the salary is £12,879 part time (18 hours per week)
Skills and Experience
We want to bring those with first-hand experience of living and working in St Helens into our organisation. We would welcome applications from those with direct experience of St Helens and their unique neighbourhoods and towns, with the skills that can support organisations and individuals working collaboratively to deliver change. As part of this new team you will have a unique opportunity to understand, influence and support neighbourhoods and communities in St Helens.
