Exciting opportunities at new shop opening on Cambridge Road, St Helens
The St Vincent de Paul Society (or as it is often known - the SVP) is an international Christian voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing practical assistance to those in need.
Shop Manager - Permanent Contract: 37.5 hours per week
Main duties include:
* Managing a busy charity shop whilst leading a team of dedicated volunteers
* Developing and delivering on the shops business plan
* Ensuring that targets are met and exceeded consistently
* Offering outstanding customer service
* Maintaining excellent merchandising standards
It is essential the candidate demonstrates:
* Experience working in a retail environment ideally from a charity background
* Great communication and people skills
* Good standard of numeracy and literacy
* Ability to work within a team efficiently
* Ability to achieve sales targets
* Ability to work with IT
*Ability to use social media/online selling
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to adhere to health and safety policies and legislation
* Drive and enthusiasm

Assistant Shop Manager - Permanent Contract: 15 hours per week
Main duties include:
