Three times as many men die by suicide each year compared to women, with suicide being the biggest cause of death in men under the age of 50. Research has highlighted bereavement is a significant contributing factor in both suicide of men and children and young people. Calm Your Mind – Halton's local male mental health campaign is raising money to upskill professionals and volunteers to be able to support bereaved men and boys will help to contribute to a reduction in suicides in Halton.
The target is £3165 and so far they have raised £555. Every single donation matters. Whether large or small.
