The Autism Wellbeing Project CIC are now in a position where they can now open up their autism friendly vaccine clinic to those aged 16+ and their parents/carers. You don’t have to be diagnosed to access this clinic. To book in for your Covid and/or Flu vaccination you need to follow these steps. Please note that this clinic cannot provide the flu vaccine to under 18s ONLY the Covid vaccine;

Halton Cancer Support Centre (formerly Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Group)

Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Group have a new name Halton Cancer Support Centre, they are still based at 21-23 Alforde Street, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 7TR telephone number 0151 423 5730 Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm.
They will continue to provide a community based welcoming environment where emotional and psychological support is available for people from Halton whose lives have been touched by cancer. To find out more click here
Cheshire Police Seeks Views From Women and Girls aged 16 And Over
Cheshire Police and OPCC John Dwyer are seeking the views, experiences and opinions of as many women and girls in Cheshire as possible.
To achieve this, they have commissioned independent research organisation VictimFocus, which specialises in promoting the rights of victims of crime, and challenging prejudice and poor practice around the world.

Today Halton and St Helens VCA have launched their Training and Networking E-Newsletter. We will be using this platform to share the VCA training offer, highlight our networking events, and promote the training available through our partners and external organisations.
Mersey Care Launch New Children’s And Adolescent 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Response Team
Children and young people based in Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington up to the age of 18 who are experiencing a mental health crisis will have access to a dedicated 24/7 team for the first time.
The new crisis response team, based within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Child and Young People’s Mental Health Service, will help those under 18 who need an emergency response and aims to provide a risk assessment within four hours.
