Programme Manager

Location: Halton & St Helens (hybrid working)
Salary: £31,940
Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
Hours: Full Time 36 hours

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Programme Manager to oversee the delivery of our growing portfolio of programmes across Halton and St Helens.

This is a key role within the organisation, ensuring our work is delivered effectively, demonstrates impact and meets all funding and quality requirements. You will play a central role in improving programme oversight, strengthening performance and enabling the organisation to continue making a meaningful difference within communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of multiple funded programmes, ensuring they meet agreed outcomes and timelines
  • Lead on performance monitoring, data collection and impact reporting
  • Coordinate reporting to funders and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Monitor programme budgets and support financial oversight
  • Manage risk and support consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Contribute to organisational learning and continuous improvement

About you

  • Experience of programme or project management in a complex environment
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Confidence in working with data, reporting and performance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach

Communications and Engagement Officer

Location: Halton & St Helens (hybrid working)
Salary: £31,940
Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
Hours: Full Time 36 hours

About the role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communications and Engagement Officer to help strengthen the voice and visibility of the VCFSE sector across Halton and St Helens.

You will play a vital role in promoting the impact of the sector, ensuring organisations are engaged and represented, and supporting effective communication with partners, stakeholders and communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver communications that reflect organisational priorities
  • Create engaging content across digital platforms, including social media and web
  • Manage and grow our online presence and engagement
  • Build relationships with VCFSE organisations and partners
  • Support promotion of events, training and sector activity
  • Monitor and evaluate communications activity to improve reach and impact

About you

You will bring:

  • Experience in communications, engagement or a similar role
  • Strong writing and content creation skills
  • Confidence using digital platforms and social media
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Creativity, initiative and a passion for community development
