St Helens Together is proud to announce a £120,000 Food & Wider Essentials Assistance Grant, created through Government’s Household Support Fund. This fund isn’t just about crisis support—it’s about dignity, sustainability, and collaboration.
What’s on offer?
- Grants of up to £5,000 for charities, CICs, and constituted community groups.
- Funding will help VCFSE organsiations to help people struggling to afford food and essentials, from older residents just above benefit thresholds to young care leavers finding their feet.
- Support for projects that work together, not in competition, strengthening our borough-wide Food Providers Alliance.
Key dates
- Deadline for applications: 5pm, Thursday 4th December 2025
- Programme completion: by 1st April 2026
- Monitoring returns: due by Friday 1st May 2026
