We are running three short workshops for St Helens residents who are unemployed / unable to work on Friday 23rd September 2022 at The Beacon Building, College Street, St Helens. WA10 1TF. There is a £30 gift voucher for each participant who completes a workshop and lunch is also provided.
The workshops, with lunch are provided free of charge to individuals who:
- Live in St Helens and
- Are unemployed or unable to work for health reasons, disability, or caring responsibilities (but, unfortunately, NOT if you are retired or a student or you are not entitled to work in the UK
“How to really listen to people” understanding how you take in information from others - starting at 9.30am
“10 ways to enjoy your life” (how to “bounce back” from difficulties, coping with stress, steps to happiness) - starting at either 9.30am or 1.30pm
“Standing up for yourself” or “How to say ‘no’ to things you don’t really want to do without feeling guilty or upsetting anyone” - starting at 1.30pm
Lunch will be provided for attendees at both Morning and / or Afternoon sessions from 12:45pm.
A £30 gift voucher will be given to all those who complete a workshop, provide us with their contact details and complete our evaluation survey after the workshop. Please note there will only be one voucher per participant on the day
Venues – training is accessible on the ground floor of the Beacon Building on College Street St Helens.
