About Open 360
Open 360  are a grass-roots ‘learning’ organisation that does not drive the agenda but develops all group-activities through continual collaboration with former/prospective participants. Their mission has been to co-design and deliver simple, effective and accessible community engagement and well-being projects to improve the lives and opportunities of vulnerable, marginalised and isolated people of all ages, backgrounds and needs within the most deprived neighbourhoods of Widnes and Runcorn.


Since 2012 they have been managing, delivering and evaluating community-based people-development projects. They focus on ‘connecting people through digital’ with flexible projects with specific content aimed at addressing the growing problem of digital inequality/data. These form of a series of basic self-contained activities forming a flexible ‘wrap-around’ package designed to meet the widest possible individual circumstances, needs and learning abilities, with effective holistic, person-centred delivery-model where each individual matters.

About the role


•To co-ordinate the daily set-up, operation and open-accessibility of a community-based, digital inclusion learning hub forming three linked venues across Halton (two in Runcorn and one in Widnes),
•Including the essential allocation and setting-up of multiple digital learning devices for usage at all ability levels.
•You will manage transferring laptops, tablets, printers, IT peripherals (including data), projectors and screens with all the required cabling and power accessories from the Digital Hub and delivery centre to two other locations.
•You will have to set up multiple workstations at the two venues away from the Digital Hub and Delivery Centre as required and designated (via venue/room plan) by Project Manager or an Open 360 Director
• The role requires you to have a full, clean UK driving licence. Having access to a vehicle for the role travelling in between Runcorn and Widnes venues two days a week is essential.
