Creamfields Community Grant Launched

 

As a result of Creamfields taking place in Halton, the organisers have established the Creamfields Community Fund. This is for Halton community groups and organisations to apply for grants of up to £750. The grants can be put towards projects, events and/or initiatives taking place in Halton.

 

The priorities for this grant scheme are:

  • Projects that help those who are most in need
  • Projects that support young people
  • Projects that take place in locations that are directly impacted by the festival  
  • Music related projects
  • Wider cultural projects

All applicants must:

  • Be an organisation that runs on a not for profit basis, with a management committee and Constitution in place.
  • Have a bank account in the name of the group and be able to provide a recent bank statement – no more than 3 months old. You will also need to provide your most recent annual accounts.
  • Have committee members that are unrelated. By unrelated we mean not married/in a civil partnership/living at the same address/in a long-term relationship/related by blood.
  • Have effective financial management arrangements
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding children (if appropriate) and ensure that any adults engaged in the supervision of children and young people have had a recent DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Have a commitment to equal opportunities

Generally funding is NOT available for the following purposes:

  • To reimburse money already spent
  • Building funds or building repairs.
  • General rent, rates or leasing of buildings.
  • Routine overheads or running expenses for established groups
  • Personal items or personal expenditure.
