    The Warm connections Bereavement café offers an informal supportive space for those who have suffered a bereavement, to meet others with similar experiences and have a chat. They are held monthly at the St Helens Crematorium.

    If you have suffered a bereavement, go along for a chat with people who have similar experiences. Refreshments provided. Make connections in your community. Free event - all welcome!

    Halton Libraries, Halton Cancer Support, and Halton & St Helens VCA are continuing to work in partnership to offer a bereavement café in Halton throughout 2026.

    This informal, peer led group is an opportunity for Halton's bereaved adults to get together to chat and support each other. The groups are held in two venues:

    St Marie's, Lugsdale Road, Widnes, WA8 6DB

    Halton Lea Library, Shopping Centre, Runcorn, WA7 2PF

    Dates for 2026 are included on the flyer.

    Booking is not required.

  • New LGBTQ+ Suicide Bereavement Support Group

     

    SoBS is very pleased to announce that it is opening a new group to support members of the LGBTQ+ community who have been bereaved by suicide,

    SpeakOUT is a free & confidential online peersupport group for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ who has lost a loved one to suicide. They will also support the loved ones of an LGBTQ+ person who has died by suicide.

    Meeting (virtually) The last Monday of the month 7pm - 9pm

  • Christmas Remembrance Service - Greenacres Rainford

     

    Whilst this can be a magical time of year for many people if you have lost a loved one you might not be feeling so festive. Whether this is your first Christmas without this special person, or the time of year that makes memories that little bit harder, Greenacres Christmas Remembrance Service can be a lovely way to spend time reflecting.

    Spaces are limited to four per family, children under five are expected to sit on laps.
