Assistant Shop Manager St Helens

Working Hours = 22.5 hours per week

Salary = £12,905.10 per annum (£21,508.50 FTE)

Main duties include:

  • Support the shop manager to achieve income via shop sales, Gift Aid, donations, recycling, online selling and any other ethical routes in line with our values
  • Support the shop manager to maximise Gift Aid and deliver a consistent percentage appropriate to the shop location and ensure all donors are asked if they can Gift Aid
  • Support the shop manager to ensure adequate generation of good quality stock through local donations
  • Be a key holder for the shop/ building


It is essential the candidate demonstrates:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Retail experience
  • Creativity
  • A drive and passion for charity retail
  • Good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
