Survey Age Well Halton please help

Public Health are conducting a survey for Halton residents age 55+, to understand older residents’ experiences and priorities around ageing. This survey is part of the initial work being undertaken to understand how ‘age-friendly’ Halton currently is.

 They have had a promising initial response rate to the survey! Your support to promote the survey in your venues and with residents, is greatly appreciated.

 How is the survey being distributed?

They are asking for the digital link to be shared wherever possible: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/AgeFriendly

Paper copies of the survey, along with pre-paid return envelopes have been distributed to various locations including:

  • Community Centres
  • Leisure Centres
  • Direct Link Shops
  • HBC Care Homes
  • Family hubs
  • WELL Hub, Runcorn
  • GPs

Additional paper copies are available from the Public Health Team (0151 511 5200 or email age.well@halton.gov.uk) If you have an event/group, that they could attend to promote the survey, particularly in Widnes give them a call or drop an email.  

The Age Well team will also be promoting the survey in person at the following events/groups:

  • Warrington Road Family Hub 11:00 – 14:00 on 14th August
  • Stroke Café 10:30 – 11:30 on 17th August
  • Halton Lea Library 10:30-12:00 on 18th August
  • Halton Lea Library 10:00-11:30 on 19th August
  • Public Art Event at West Bank under the Silver Jubilee Bridge 12:00 - 14:00 on 19th August
  • Stroke Café 14:00 – 15:00 on 19th August
  • Halton Lea Library 10:30 - 12:00 on 25th August
  • WELL Hub 13:00-15:00 on 25th August
  • Upton Children’s Centre 11:00 – 14:00 on 26th August
  • WELL Hub 13:00-15:00 on 1st September
  • Halton Lea Library 10:00 - 11:30 on 2nd September
  • Stroke Café 14:00 – 15:00 on 2nd September

The survey will be open until Friday 23rd October 2026. Your help in distributing the survey to people who live in Halton and are age 55 and over is greatly appreciated. They are looking for responses across a wide range of people so that the responses are more representative of the population. Please share the survey with friends, family, services users etc who live in Halton and are age 55+.
