St Helens Resettlement Team are looking for volunteers to help with this year's Refugee Week Festival, a vibrant celebration of asylum seekers and refugees, being held in St.Helens Town Centre.
Refugee Week focuses on a different theme each year and services deliver arts, cultural, and educational events and activities designed to encourage community participation.
The theme for Refugee Week 2025 is "Community as a Superpower".
Would you like to be a part of this celebration?
The festival is on the Saturday 14th June from 11am until 4pm and the volunteers will be required from 10:30am.
Volunteers are required to help with:
- Speaking to the public to gain feedback
- Informing the public of upcoming performances or workshops
- Directing people towards performances or workshops
- Handing out leaflets and timetables of events
