Volunteer Awards 2024

30 October 2024

Whilst the nominations for our Volunteer Awards 2024 have closed we are extending the deadline for the following 3 categories:

  • Young Volunteer Award - This award is for individuals aged 26 and under who have made a positive impact on their community through volunteering. Perhaps they’ve been involved in a volunteering project by taking a leadership role or by expanding / developing the project. Whatever they’ve been involved in; this award recognises their passion, motivation and commitment.

  • Personal Achievement Volunteer Award - Individuals who have developed personally through volunteering and / or may have overcome personal / practical difficulties in order to volunteer.
  • Trustee / Committee Member Award - Individuals who have developed personally through volunteering and / or may have overcome personal / practical difficulties in order to volunteer.

It's coming up to National Trustee week and what better way to celebrate the great work of your Trustees by recognising their commitment and dedication.

Nominations for the above awards have been extended until Monday 4th November 10 am

Every nominee will receive a certificate and an invitation to attend the Awards evening on Saturday November 16th at the Halton DCBL Stadium, with a guest of their choice if they wish. It’s their time to shine so tell us their story – what inspires them?  What has challenged them?  What difference have they made?

This is your chance to really show us how fantastic the person is! We need you to tell us why you think the person you are nominating should receive this award. We encourage inspirational and emotive comments. The judges will make their decision on the information you provide so please tell us as much as you can.

Please note: that if successful, the words could be used at the awards ceremony.
