Widnes Vikings and the Vikings Foundation are delighted to welcome Halton and St Helens Voluntary and Community Action as the new sponsors of the matchday ball crew.
The partnership with Halton and St Helens VCA has allowed Widnes Vikings to provide new kit and bibs for the matchday ball crew.
Members of our staff team were present at Sunday’s game with Dewsbury for the official launch of the new ball crew kit.
Widnes Vikings Foundation Director, Simon Fox said: “We’re particularly grateful to Halton and St Helens Voluntary Community Action.
“Their direct support helps us kit out the ball crew on a matchday, something that’s crucial to the whole operation.
“It also allows us to give opportunities to boys and girls of all ages to get involved in sport and high-expectation environments from a young age.”
Claire Redford-Kerr at Halton and St Helens VCA said: “We’re pleased to be working with the Widnes Vikings Foundation and sponsoring the ball crew this year.
“Our work is all about supporting groups and organisations across Widnes and Runcorn who deliver much-needed services in our borough for local people.
“Building relationships with the Foundation will help create new opportunities, and develop networks, and by working closely together we can help find solutions to some of the problems faced by our communities.”
