The aim of Unite Bridge Hope (UBH) is to work with asylum seekers and refugees living in St Helens, to inform and support integration into local communities by those people who have lived experience of leaving their own countries to find sanctuary here in the UK.
Unite Bridge Hope (UBH) is made up of asylum seekers, refugees and local people from the community. Those of the group who have been and still going through the immigration process are aware of what they needed when arriving in a new country and town/city and want to fill the gaps in services to provide much needed support to enable community cohesion in the borough if St Helens.
Unite Bridge Hope (UBH) aim to bring people together to share cultures, language and build friendships, to respect and value people from all backgrounds and cultures and work towards promoting diversity in the St Helens communities.
