Tell us what you need from Citizens Advice services in Halton.

Each year, Citizens Advice Halton helps over 8,000 local people with a whole range of different law related and practical problems.

Whilst they will still have funding for targeted services (e.g. for particular client groups like parents with very young children, or particular areas of advice like debt advice, homelessness prevention, energy advice), due to a significant reduction in funding for their "universal" advice service (i.e. whoever you are, whatever the problem) they now need to downsize and change the way they provide help and advice to local people.

Options they are having to look at include:
a) downsizing their team
b) reducing their drop-in service
c) potentially closing either their Widnes or Runcorn office

But before they make any final decision they want to hear from the public to help them understand what local people want/need from their local Citizens Advice service.

Time is precious and to thank people for sharing their views, they will be entered into a free prize draw with a chance to win a £50 gift voucher. This will be drawn randomly in February.

The survey can be completed online by clicking here: https://forms.gle/76UTbw2LqXiPjWd99

Alternatively attached is a paper copy of the survey for those of your contacts who are digitally excluded.  You can either scan and email the completed survey forms back to advice@CAHalton.org.uk, or if there are too many Citizens Advice will arrange for pick-up (or reimburse you for postage).
