Select Training CIC are launching the Community Minds St Helens initiative which aims to improve mental health literacy across communities in Halton and St Helens and to create sustainable, community-level support groups and ambassador programmes.
The project will tackle the mental health crisis through education with a focus on prevention and early intervention. This will be achieved by providing affordable, high quality Ofqual regulated mental health first aid training to community groups, schools and charities.
They also offer the Mini Medics Mental Health course to schools and other youth groups aimed at children between 8 and 13.
They want to make mental health first aid training accessible to as many people as possible across our communities and can deliver these qualifications from as little as £75 per person.
Please get in touch with Jenny on 07940 039600 or email at admin@select-training.org.uk if you feel that your staff, volunteers, service users or students could benefit from this training.
